Setting up Donut on your workspace is quick and easy, no matter what plan (Free, Standard, or Premium) you'd like to use.

Adding Donut and configuring your first connections program should take 10 minutes or less, and you'll be guided through the whole process.

  1. Hit "add to Slack" and "allow" permissions to access your workspace. Donut requests only permissions it needs in order to make the app function (read more on data access and privacy).

  2. You'll be prompted to name a dedicated channel for your connections program, or to select from an existing channel.

3. You'll see a quick walk-through that allows you to change settings like the frequency at which intros are made, when your first round of intros will be made, and whether or not you want to include Conversation Starters.

4. You can also choose to create a Watercooler channel. You can set the amount of prompts per week, the time of day the prompts send, and even create your own prompts as well.

5. That's it! You're ready to start making connections for your team (read more on how to launch Donut successfully and how to announce Donut to your team).
