I need to have Manager information before my New Hire starts, what should I do?
If you are going to have any pre-boarding content, it's important for Donut to have Manager information importing into Donut from Workday. However, due to a limitation in the Workday API, Merge<>Workday connections do not include manager information for future employees. You can follow these steps to ensure you are able to utilize this information.
Why did my Workday account become unlinked?
This could be due to various reasons like permissions changes, changes in your HRIS, but most commonly is due to a password expiration. If you are utilizing a Workday sandbox environment to do initial testing in, this will usually require a frequent password update. However, if you are using a production environment, you can follow these steps to ensure your password doesn't expire in Workday, preventing the account from becoming unlinked.
I set up my auto-enroll rules, but I need information from our Worker Type field, what do I do?
The Worker Type field is not made available to us by default through Merge, but it can be accessed by setting up a custom mapping. Please reach out to support@donut.ai if you need to leverage this field in your auto-enroll set up. We can work with our Engineering team to help with any next steps.
