Thanks so much for your interest in Donut for Microsoft Teams! These instructions will help you install Donut to your Teams workspace and start running Intros, which should take 5 minutes or less. As an early adopter, you get free usage of Donut Intros on Microsoft Teams for a limited time.
1. Install the app on your Team's workspace
Click the button below to go to Donut's listing in Microsoft's AppSource. Once there, select Get it now.
Alternatively, you can also add Donut to your Team by following these steps:
Open Microsoft Teams
Click Apps from the left sidebar menu
In the search bar within the left panel, type "Donut"
Find the Donut app in the options that appear and click Add
2. Add Donut to a Team and Channel
Select the Add to a Team button and choose the Team and Channel you'd like to use Donut in, then click Set up a bot
Donut will send a message to the Team to announce the first scheduled Intro:
3. Start making introductions
Clicking the Open Chat button will take you to a chat with Donut where you'll have option to send Intros immediately:
If you choose to wait until the first round of Intros goes out, then you're all set! 🎉
Intros will automatically run in the Team and channel of your choice.
