In addition to birthdays and work anniversaries, we understand that there are many important dates that you want to celebrate with your team. That's why we offer the ability to add additional dates to your Donut Celebrations channel. This way, you can celebrate other special occasions and holidays with all of your teammates.

Adding and Managing Custom Celebrations:
To get started, head over to the settings of your Donut Celebrations channel:
Log in to the dashboard at app.donut.ai.
Click the Donut channels in your workspace tab, and locate your Donut Celebrations channel.
Select the Gear icon within the channel to access the settings:
Go to the Custom tab, and click + Add Celebration:
A modal will appear where you can enter the following:
Date: Click inside the "Please select a date" box to set the date of your Custom Celebration.
Celebration Name: Examples include: Earth Day, Employee Appreciation Day, etc.
Custom Message: This is the message that will appear in the Celebration post sent to your channel. You may follow the Slack formatting guide shown under the text box to include italics, hyperlinks, emojis, and more!

GIF: You can use this button to search giphy for a GIF to include.
Repeat every year: The Custom Celebration message will be sent annually if you check this box.
Once you have entered all of the information, please click Save!
💡 If your Custom Celebration falls on a weekend, it will be sent on the Friday before.
By default, the Custom Celebration will be enabled. To turn it off, click the toggle icon found in the Celebrate column:
In the Actions column, you may click the Eye icon to preview the message and the Pencil icon to edit.
Once you are done editing or managing the Custom Celebration, please click the Save button in the upper right corner to save the changes.
