How to Set up a Peer Mentorship Journey:
1️⃣ Go to the Prebuilt Journeys page in the Donut dashboard and select the Peer Mentorship Program.
On the next page, you can customize what Building Blocks are included, preview the messages, view the duration of the program, and view how many messages and roles are included. Example:
2️⃣ Follow these instructions to edit and add content to the Journey. Here's a preview of what the steps will look like:
3️⃣ Now that the content has been added, it's time to enroll folks in your Journey! Go to the Mentees tab and select Enroll with Form.
4️⃣ Fill out the required data like: Form Invitee Message, Title, and Description.
5️⃣ By default, Mentor & Mentee matching will be turned on. This allows participants to choose their roles and admins to subsequently match them afterward.
6️⃣ Create the questions and responses in the fields below:
7️⃣ Choose where you want to share the form - as a direct message or in a channel.
What Participants see in Slack:
1️⃣ Enroll as a Participant: Choose your role as either a mentee seeking guidance or a peer mentor offering support.
2️⃣ Complete the Enrollment Form: Provide relevant information about your experience, preferences, and areas of interest, etc.
3️⃣ Submit the Form: Express your interest in participating by submitting the enrollment form.
Matching Mentors with Mentees:
1️⃣ Review Enrollment Responses: Journeys admins can review responses submitted by participants to identify potential matches based on shared interests and goals.
2️⃣ Initiate Matches: Admins can select matches they believe would benefit from their guidance, and vice versa, ensuring compatibility and enhancing the mentoring experience.
3️⃣ Create Mentorship Opportunities: Once mentors and mentees are paired together, mentorship introductions are scheduled within Donut. Here's an preview of an Intro message that will be scheduled:
How to Measure Results:
1️⃣ Solicit Feedback: During the program, participants have the opportunity to provide feedback and insights, allowing for continuous improvement and refinement of the mentorship program.
2️⃣ Monitor Reporting: Admins can can get real-time feedback and reporting by reviewing poll results and introductions in Journeys Reporting.
