Donut can look up what's happening with your Intros, Shoutouts, and meetings. Try questions like:
"When's my next coffee chat?"
"Who have I sent Shoutouts to recently?"

How Donut works
Donut answers product questions using the Donut help center, and links to the relevant article so you can read more. Try questions like:
"What can you do with Donut?"
"How do Shoutouts work?"
"How do I check my points balance?"
"How do I redeem points in the Rewards Store?"
"How do I earn Donut Badges?"
"How do I change how often I get Intros?"
"How do I schedule my Donut meeting with Zoom?"
Managing your Intros
Ask Donut to snooze your Intros when you're heading out on PTO, and unsnooze them when you're back. For example: "Snooze my Intros for the next two weeks."
Prepping for a meeting
Donut can pull tips straight from the help center to make your next 1:1 or coffee chat better. Try:
"Give me icebreaker questions for my next Intro"
"What are some good conversation starters?"
"Any tips for a first virtual coffee chat?"
✅ Tip: Fill out your Donut Profile before you meet. Donut uses Profiles to surface shared interests with your match, so the conversation starts somewhere better than the weather.
How to start a conversation with Donut
In Slack, open your DM with Donut. If you don't see it, search for Donut in the Apps section of your sidebar.
Type your question in plain language. No special commands needed.
Donut replies in the DM. When the answer comes from a help center article, Donut includes a link so you can dig deeper.
That's it! Ask follow-up questions in the same conversation and Donut will keep up.
What Donut remembers
Donut remembers earlier messages within your DM together, so "wait, what was that second one?" works the way you'd expect. Donut can't see your other Slack messages. Channels, threads, and DMs with other people stay private.
FAQs
Can Donut add me to or remove me from a channel?
No. You can join or leave any channel directly in Slack. If you leave a channel that runs Intros, you'll stop being matched in that channel.
What if Donut can't answer my question?
Donut will say so rather than guess, and point you to your Donut admin or our support team.
Does Donut work in channels?
Donut answers questions in your DM with Donut. Messages you send in channels won't get a response.
