If you use the Calendar Integration, Donut automatically attempts to find available time slots between you and your teammates and proposes times that work for everyone. Donut automatically checks from 9am-6pm in your calendars.
β
However, if teammates have very different schedules (such as teammates in different locations/time zones) it may be hard for Donut to find a time that works.
β
Individuals can adjust the hours that Donut scans for availability to make it more likely that it will find overlapping openings. For example, a teammate on Pacific Time might wish to change their working hours to better accommodate matches on Eastern Time.
How to adjust working hours
Individuals can easily adjust their working hours from within Slack. Here's how:
Click on Donut in Slack and select "Go to app"
Go to the "Home" tab at the top of the Donut app section
Under Settings, look for the button that says "Set my working hours"
4. Click the button to open a modal and adjust hours as necessary! (note: your time zone is set in your Slack preferences & settings)
Once you've finished, just hit "Done" and in future Donut will only look at the hours you've set to propose available times.
Have any questions about adjusting your working hours? Just click the purple Donut button on the bottom right of this screen and send us a message. π©
