Introducing the new Donut Homepage! This centralized hub provides easy access to all your Donut programs, including actionable tasks, reporting modules, and helpful customer videos. This guide will walk you through each feature to help you optimize your experience and make the most of your tools.

Introduction to Reporting Modules on the Donut Homepage

The reporting modules on your Homepage offer powerful insights into Donut usage across your organization. Let's explore each module to understand the value Donut brings to your team.

Available Reporting Modules

We currently offer 10 reporting modules, with the ability to display 4 at a time on your Donut Homepage. Here's a detailed look at each module:

1. Active Donut users

  • Shows the number of people participating in one or more Donut programs during the selected period.

  • Includes users receiving Intros (not including those who are ghost-busted), members of Celebrations or Watercooler channels, those scheduled for Donut Journey content, and Journey admins.

  • Each user is counted only once for billing, regardless of program participation.

Note: The total number of active users shown here may differ from the billing activity on your invoice. Donut tracks active users daily for billing, so if your user count moves between tiers during a billing cycle, we apply prorated charges or credits. The displayed usage reflects anyone active during the selected time range. Click here to learn more about how billing works.

Example: if 50 people were in a Watercooler channel and replaced by 50 new users, the usage would show 100 active users, but your billing tier would remain unchanged as they were active on different days. Questions about pricing?

2. New Hires added

  • Displays the number of New Hires added to Onboarding Journeys.

  • Counts unique additions, even if a New Hire is added to multiple Journeys simultaneously.

Example: if a New Hire is added to a General Onboarding Journey and a Sales Onboarding Journey at the same time, that would count as 1. However, if they were added to a General Onboarding Journey and then later added to a Sales Journey, that would count twice.

3. Participants added

  • Shows the number of Participants added to Non-Onboarding Journeys (e.g., Mentorship, Training, Events).

  • Counts unique additions, similar to New Hires Added.

4. Users in Journeys

  • Represents unique users who were members of an active Journey during the selected timeframe.

  • An active Journey has content scheduled to be sent out, either during or after the selected period.

Example: If you select October 1 - October 31st as your time frame and there are 30 users that had content either during that month or scheduled for sometime after, they would be captured in this number.

Note: If no messages were sent in the month of October, but were scheduled for November in this example, they would still be members of an active Journey and captured in the calculation.

5. Poll completion rate

  • Displays the percentage of polls answered within the selected timeframe.

6. Task completion rate

  • Shows the percentage of tasks completed or dismissed within the selected timeframe.

7. Intros completed

  • Indicates how many meetings from Intros channels successfully occurred.

8. Active Donut channels

  • Represents the number of Intros, Watercooler, and Celebrations channels running in your workspace during the selected timeframe.

9. Celebrations sent

  • Displays the number of birthdays, anniversaries, and custom dates celebrated.

10. Watercooler topics sent

  • Shows how many Watercooler topics were sent, counting each instance separately if a topic is sent multiple times.

Learn and Create Section

The Donut Homepage also features a "Learn and Create" section, designed to keep you informed about new features and provide valuable insights from other teams. This section includes two main components:

What's New in Donut

This area highlights the latest features and updates to the Donut platform. In the example shown:

  • Attachments in Journeys messages: A new feature allowing you to add videos, PDFs, and other file types to make your messages more engaging.

  • A video demonstration is available, showing how to attach files to Journeys messages.

Highlighted Stories

This carousel showcases success stories and best practices from other companies using Donut. In the example:

  • A story about how Huntress earns high-scoring employee feedback is featured.

  • Users can learn about Huntress's three pillars of employee engagement and how they create great outcomes.

  • A "Read article" button allows users to access the full story.

  • The Highlighted Stories section includes navigation arrows (< 1/4 >), indicating that there are multiple stories users can browse through.
