Sometimes you know you'll be unavailable for Donut intros for a while, and can temporarily snooze your participation from Donut's Home tab in Slack.

But, in the event that you realize after being introduced by Donut that someone isn't available to meet up or needs to be re-matched, you can easily cancel the meeting and/or request a new match from Donut.
If you're unavailable to meet
If you get introduced by Donut and realize that you personally are not able to meet for any reason, simply click the drop-down in the top right of your intro message.
Select the "π« I'm unavailable" option if you are the person who is unable to meet. This will pop open a window with a few different reasons you can indicate why you're not able to meet. Don't worry, the reasons you give are totally confidential and will not be visible to your partner.
Once you've selected the reason you're unable to meet, just hit "confirm" to finish. Donut will let the other person know that you're not able to meet this time around, and if possible, will try to re-match the other person with someone else.
If you need a new match
If you get introduced by Donut but need to be rematched with a new person for some reason (for example they're on vacation and forgot to snooze), you can request a new match from Donut.

Click the drop-down in the top right of your intro message. Select the "β»οΈ I need a new match" option from the drop-down list.
Please note: This option can only be used once per Intros round and only works with group sizes of 2
This will pop open a window with a few different reasons you are requesting a new match. Don't worry, the reasons you give are totally confidential and will not be visible to your partner.
Once you've selected the reason you're unable to meet, just hit "confirm" to finish. Donut will mark the meeting as incomplete and let the other participant know.
**You can only get matched with someone else if someone else also clicks that option and needs a new intro, so otherwise, it will be marked as unable to meet that week.
